Browsers

If the site does not display properly in your browser, your browser may not be standards compliant and you should consider upgrading to a more modern browser. There are many excellent browsers freely available, such as Firefox (PC & Mac) and Safari (Mac).

If you have difficulty reading the pages you can switch the size of the type between the standard size and a larger size using the 'Change text size' widget on the left hand side of the window. Some browsers have this feature built in: for example in Internet Explorer (PC) you can zoom in and out by going to the 'View' menu and then 'Text Size'. You may need to adjust your accessibility options first ('Tools' > 'Internet Options' > 'Accessibility').

Keyboard shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts allow quick keyboard access to a link without needing to use the mouse or tab repeatedly. This speeds up the user's interaction with the page.

On Windows systems, hold the Alt key while pressing the number defined below. Press 'Enter' to follow the link.

On Macintosh systems, hold the Ctrl key while pressing the number defined below. Press 'Enter' to follow the link.
